Chairman's Message

Dear Members, Annwyl Aelodau,

It is a great honour and privilege to be elected as your chairman for the coming year  and I’m looking forward to meeting many of you at the County events.

The role does come with its challenges though as I’m following in the footsteps of many excellent past chairmen who have done so much to make our County Federation successful over the years.

Our most recent Past Chairman Vicki has worked hard work in promoting the County Federation and in encouraging new members to join their local WIs.  She has been enthusiastic in all that she has done for the County Federation.  Thank you, Vicki.

I hope that members will be able to come along to the many varied County Federation events and activities which are being organised by the Arts/Leisure, HEPA, and Promotions sub committees, Membership Advisory and the Board of Trustees during 2018.  A special thank you to all of the committees for their hard work and also to all of the members for your support of the County Federation events and activities.

I hope too that members will enjoy, throughout the year, their own WI meetings with their varied activities, events, speakers and competitions.

In my opinion joining a WI is a great way to make new friends, learn new skills, visit new places, try new activities and adventures but most importantly, too, to have fun and laughter.
